Introduction

The Essential Package includes everything in the Discovery Package, plus practical training on using the official Bilan Carbone® calculation tools. It is designed for professionals who want to carry out carbon assessments within their organisation or for clients.   The Essential Package enables you to apply the methodology through realistic practical exercises.

  • Use the official Bilan Carbone® V9 calculation tools confidently
  • Structure a greenhouse gas inventory
  • Collect and analyse emissions data
  • Understand methodological choices and uncertainty management
  • Interpret results and begin developing a transition plan
  • Carry out a carbon assessment at Initial or Standard maturity level.

Who is it for?

Relevant profiles:

  • This training course is intended for any stakeholder, in the private or public sector, wishing to acquire the basics of carbon accounting in order to engage in a GHG reduction approach based on the Bilan Carbone® method.
  • Project managers or sustainable development, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) or QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) officers.
  • Carbon/climate impact project managers, as well as roles in finance, purchasing, supply chain, etc.

The Essential Package includes: one year of access to the official Bilan Carbone® V9 calculation tools; tools for greenhouse gas accounting and transition planning tool.   Unlike many methodologies that provide guidance only, the Bilan Carbone® methodology is supported by a comprehensive suite of practical tools that help organisations calculate emissions, model reduction scenarios and develop actionable transition plans.
