What the tool provides Structures the inventory by emission sources and categories and converts activity data into CO₂-equivalent emissions using emission factors.Records the uncertainty associated with activity data and emission factors, making the reliability of results visible.Includes a data-collection matrix, detailed data exports and a results dashboard in the V9 generation.Supports reporting and interoperability through dedicated exports. Depending on the release, these include formats connected with the GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1, CSRD/VSME, ACT etc..Uses emission factors drawn from resources including ADEME’s Base Empreinte®; the latest official workbook release should always be used because factors and exports are updated over time. ABC describes it as open-source software distributed under the MIT licence.Its features evolve over time; users should check the current release notes for transition-plan functions, exports and sector-specific versions. It supports the transition-plan stage of the Bilan Carbone® approach; it does not calculate the emissions inventory itself. What the tool provides Provides a dashboard that consolidates planned measures and gives an overview of priorities, implementation status, responsible persons, schedules and expected greenhouse-gas reductions.Includes a detailed action-plan worksheet for documenting each measure, including its objectives, target sites or activities, description, project lead, stakeholder involvement, resources, budget, timetable and milestones.Records the quantified reduction potential and the implementation, monitoring and performance indicators associated with each action.Helps teams compare and prioritise measures, identify facilitators, barriers and dependencies, and update progress as actions are implemented.Supports governance and periodic reporting by bringing the organisation’s reduction measures together in a format that can be reviewed by management and operational teams.
